Description
The works consisted of:
- Preparation and clearance of foreshore including area below low water mark
- Underwater rock breaking and removal of rock to depth of 3m
- Installation of foundation works using bespoke screed frame
- Placement, fixing and infill of 5t concrete caissons for construction of jetty walls
- Design & fabrication of customised steel shutter for construction of in-situ outer wall
- Construction and finishing works to outer jetty wall
- Placement of rock armour for revetment formation and toe protection, upon completion of new jetty
